Welcome to our FAQ section! We want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog in our care. Below are answers to our most common questions. If you need more details, don’t hesitate to reach out!
We Require Our Canine Guests Be:
To ensure a safe and happy environment for all the dogs in our care, we recommend that our canine guests meet the following:
• At least 4 months old
• Spayed or neutered (if over 6 months)
• Current on rabies, distemper/parvo (DAPP), and bordetella vaccinations
• On a regular flea preventative and tick-free
• In good health with no signs of illness, open wounds, or recent surgeries/stitches
• Friendly, social, and non-aggressive
• Wearing a quick-release collar (no breakaway collars, please)
Are meet and greets available?
Due to insurance and liability restrictions, we do not offer in-person meet-and-greets with other dogs on-site. Our policy doesn’t allow clients on the property while dogs are present, as it increases potential risks for both pets and people. We’re always happy to answer your questions to help you feel confident in your dog’s care. If you’re new, we recommended starting with a daycare stay or overnight boarding so your pup can get comfortable in our environment. During drop off, we’ll personally meet you and your dog to ensure a smooth, friendly introduction.
What vaccinations are required?
All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:
• Rabies
• DPP (Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
• Adenovirus
• Bordetella (kennel cough)
Proof of vaccinations must be submitted before your dog’s stay.
How far in advance should I book?
You’re welcome to book as far in advance as you’d like — especially for holidays or busy seasons. However, we do recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability and allow time for review of your dog’s profile and vaccinations.
Is your facility cage-free?
Yes! We’re a cage-free, home-style environment with limited daily intake to ensure personalized attention. Dogs have access to spacious indoor and outdoor areas with a secure 6-foot fence, plenty of shade, and lots of room to play or rest.
If your dog is crate-trained or feels more comfortable sleeping or relaxing in a kennel, feel free to bring their personal crate. We want them to feel as safe and at home as possible during their stay.
Will my dog be around other dogs?
Yes, but only if they are friendly and social. We assess each dog’s temperament to ensure a safe and fun experience. Dogs that aren’t a good match for group play will be given individual attention and separated if needed.
Do you require a trail visit before boarding.
We recommend a half day, full-day, or overnight trail stay. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable in our home environment before a longer stay. During this time, your pup can adjust to routine, meet new friends, and get familiar with us, making future visits less stressful and more enjoyable.
Because we are a home setting (we live and sleep here too), we want every quest to feel safe, relaxed, and happy during their stay.
What if my dog has separation anxiety or special needs?
We specialize in providing calm, low stress environment with limited daily intake so every dogs gets personalized care. Because we’re smaller, dogs with separate anxiety may not be the best fit.

Of course! Familiar items can help your dog settle in. Please label everything you send.

Yes, we do ask that you bring your dog’s own food. This helps keep their diet consistent and their tummy happy during their stay. Please do not change dog’s food at the time of drop off.
